The Regional competition is held every year by Somali football federation and participated by all regions of the Nation of Somalia.

The Regions are divided into five Zones and from each zone two regions qualify for the final round which is hosted by any region that can afford the qualifications of hosting the final round.

The Qualifications include: better security, finance, reservation, technique and better exhibiting fields.
