Former SFF VP says: Abdi Qani's election comes in the right time

A former high profile Somali Football Federation official Abdulkader Mohamud Abdulle popularly known as (Cabdi Cadde) has vehemently lauded for the election of the new Somali Football Federation president Abdi Qani Said Arab, terming him a 'good' leader.


In an emailed press statement, the former Somali FA vice president said that Mr. Arab’s election as the new SFF Boss was the right step forward which coincided with the right time.


"I would like to send a message of goodwill and congratulations to the new president Abdi Qani Said Arab and his executive committee members—all I know about Mr. Arab is that he is a young and active man with a creative mind and professional leadership” said the former Somali FA vice president Mr. Abdulkader Mohamud Abdulle.



"Abdi Qani and I had worked together and I know the kind of man he is and I believe that with his election as the SFF president, the Somali Football will have stepped into a greater development” the former vice president explained in his emailed press statement on Sunday evening.


Mr. Abdulle who served as Somali Football Federation Vice president in the period (2001-2005) pledged that he will closely work with the new SFF leadership and will contribute his time energy and experience to help develop football in his country.
