Somali division B league player has been given a 5-match ban by the disciplinary and fair play committee of Somali Football Federation. The Dahabshill FC player Nur Ibrahim Ali has been found of wrongdoing against the principles of football according to a press statement by the disciplinary and fair play committee at the Somali Football Federation headquarters here in Mogadishu on Tuesday.

The SFF disciplinary and fair play committee noted that the player insulted the referee and tried to make offense against players from the opposing team during the DGB VS Dahabshiil hotly-contested match which ended in a 2-2 draw on Monday 10thof June 2013.

The committee has taken its decision after completely reading between the lines of the reports by the referee and the match commissioner and glanced back at the articles 37 and 38 of the bylaws of the competition.

However the player who wears the number 2 shirt for his club was also given a fine of paying a hundred US dollars and will not have access of taking an appeal according to the committee press statement.

This is the second player to be given such ban since the Somali Division B season started in April. Badbaado FC coach Ismail Ali Mahmoud has also finished his two match-bans so far.
